Our founders, Chris Roque and Mike Silvestri have over 55 years experience in the game from playing, coaching, and the professional scouting levels. Their support staff also ranges from former professional players, high school and college coaches. Chris and Mike have not only been college recruiters and professional evaluators at Showcases and Camps, but have extensive experience running both as well.
Chris Roque
Chris is firmly entrenched in the South Florida baseball community. Chris played his high school and college baseball here in South Florida. A two-time MLB drafted player, Chris played professionally for the Los Angels of Anaheim organization. Chris has coached at the high school and professional level. Chris has spent the past 6 years on the international side of scouting and is currently a Special Assignment Crosschecker.
Mike Silvestri
Mike has over 30 years experience in the South Florida baseball community. A former head coach in both high school and college, Mike was a 5 time High School Coach of the Year. Mike has developed and coached over 30 MLB draft picks. Currently in his 21st year as an MLB scout, he has been an East Coast Crosschecker, Special Assignment Scout, Latin American Scouting Director, and International Crosschecker. Mike has been part of the signing of over 25 MLB players, including the 2009 drafting and signing of Mike Trout.
